At Monique Randle, LCSW - Sex and Couples Therapy, I understand what you are going through. I was once in your shoes. I understand the uncertainty and the fear associated with finally making the decision to face your problems.  My role is to help you, support you, and be with you on your new journey. Whether you are dealing with depression, anxiety, relationship problems, low self-esteem, infidelity, or sex issues, it is important for you to believe that things can be better than what they are right now. Together, we will work to leave behind the struggles you face today, and equip you with the tools to move forward to the future you have dream of.

Together we will explore the negative feelings and thought patterns that give rise to the negative behaviors and problems in your life, and develop long-lasting strategies for overcoming your specific problems.

Facing your problems will not be easy, and at times it may seem impossible. I am here to encourage you to keep going when you feel like giving up. I am here to provide a listening ear and nonjudgmental voice until you reach the future you see for yourself. I truly believe that everyone deserves and can reach a brighter future…a future that is better than the present they start out with.

Is your busy schedule and life RESPONSIBILITIES getting in the way?

Don’t worry. We got you!

You have made the brave choice towards facing your problems. I believe that therapy should not be difficult and that the very problems you are attempting to resolve such as depression, anxiety, and self-doubt, should not be the thing that prevents you from going forward and getting the help you need and deserve. I have several methods of providing individual therapy, couples therapy, and sex therapy. *One or a combination can be applied during the course of your treatment. *I reserve the right to refuse a therapy modality for a client based on my professional opinion and safety risk.

Individual Therapy

You just need someone to talk to who can help you make sense of some internal conflict that’s keeping you up at night. You’re overwhelmed with life. You need someone who can help you navigate the struggles of depression, anxiety, and adjusting to new life roles and transitions. Individual therapy can provide you with the tools of life you need.

Couples Therapy

Whether you are dating, in a committed relationship, engaged, or married, relationship therapy aka couples therapy can help strengthen your relationship and help navigate some difficulties as you explore whether to stay, leave, or explore “alternative” relationship styles. Maybe you’re single, and ready to get back into the dating scene. Relationship therapy can help.

Sex Therapy

In the beginning, sex was something you wanted, but now you dread it and it feels more like a chore that has to be done. You are struggling with your sexuality and self-acceptance. Your body has changed and you no longer feel sexy or desirable. You want to try new things, but don’t know how to talk to your partner(s) about it. Sex therapy can help you get clarity.

our mission

to promote sexual health and healing, and emotional wellbeing through comprehensive sex-positive, affirming counseling and education to all clients regardless of their age, sex, race, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, marital or familial status. By providing a safe, open, and nonjudgmental space for everyone, they can discover true sexual freedom on their path to true self-acceptance without shame or guilt.

COMMIT. CONNECT. CREATE.

Everywhere you look, everyone seems happy and full of joy, and you wonder why you can’t be like them. You find that you no longer desire sex, or you’re not as confident about sex as you used to be. Depression and anxiety have robbed you of the joy from the things that used to bring you pleasure. It can be difficult finding a therapist who is not only competent, but who is able to incorporate couples counseling and sex counseling with ease, comfort, and mastery. But worry no more; you have come to the right place. My no-nonsense, straight-to-the-point style of therapy is what I bring to help repair relationships by rebuilding trust and increasing intimacy without shame or guilt, and by making conversations about sex and sexuality a normal part of your relationship. When you commit to doing the hard work, I will help you connect with the parts of you that have become depressed, loss and broken so that you can create a life full of passion and rekindled desire free of anxiety and despair.

about me…

Who is Monique Randle? Let Me keep it short.

Finding a sex and couples therapist with whom you can trust enough to stop pretending that the depression and anxiety does keep you up at night. Whom you can trust enough to admit that the relationship is full of cracks and sinkholes, and in danger of completely collapsing because it’s so broken. Whom you can trust enough to admit that you don’t really know who you are sexually, and you want to explore that. Vulnerability means opening up completely and honesty, and sharing the utmost intimate parts of your life with me. That is a big deal. So, I get it! There is no rush to commit to anything. When you are ready to take that next big step, you will know it. So, if you’ve not ready right now to deal with your depression, anxiety, relationship problems, or sex problems, that’s ok. So, breath, and relax. Look around, learn more about me, and decide whether I’m right for you.

“Blunt and straight to the point, so you can get to finally living your life!”

—Monique Randle, LCSW

Approach & Philosophy

Clients tell me that I bring empathetic understanding to much of my work and that it often feels like I’m in their head. I have an remarkable sense for understanding people, their emotions, and their story. I balance this with a blunt, straight to the point approach.

People, like you, come to me because they are yearning for something different in their lives. They are ready to start living life not just moving through life. Maybe you have been to a couple of other therapists, and ready to try something different so that you can finally get the life you desire.

I support and guide you to make that change happen. When you hire me, know that I don’t hold back. I push my clients to dig deep and encourage complete honesty and transparency as that is when true change happens. Sessions with me are give-and-take because I believe your time is just as valuable as mine. I aim to make your minutes with me be impactful. I’m with you all the way!

My 10 years of experience as a therapist working with teens, adults, and couples, as well as, my life experiences and extensive training have resulted in an approach influenced by  Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution-Focused, Mindfulness, as well as, Gottman Method Couples Therapy, Prepare/Enrich Method, Expressive Arts therapy, and the many people I have trained and learned from during my sex therapy certification program through the Sexual Health Alliance. In the end, I seek to personalize an collaborative approach towards the change you want to see happen in your life as I believe change only occurs when we work together as a team.
